By a twist of fate, Annelise Shaw stops the Graham Group's CEO, Mason Graham, from committing suicide. This is witnessed by Mason's father, who decides to hire Annelise to treat Mason's aphasia, offering a high price of 100,000 yuan per word. To get Mason to speak, Annelise tries every trick in the book.
