Salido in Spanish can either mean to Leave or to find an exit. Or it can be slang for a "Horny male". Either way, both definitions collide for Tomas Chacon, who at nearly forty is getting burnt out from his life asa private underground erotic dancer. Though the money is good and the women plentiful, he also deals with the loneliness that comes with his lifestyle. As he rips off each layer of clothing, Tomas tries to forget. As me makes each of the ladies at the private house parties caress every inch of his nearly naked body, he thinks about the future and what his goals are. He looks like he's enjoyimg every moment, but internally he's just thinking about the day when he will be able to hang up his thong indefinitely. Tomas got into erotic dancing to pay for law school thinking that this would be a temporary means to his goal of passing the Bar. But much to his chagrin, he's taken and failed three times. He's preparing to take it once more with hopes he will pass but there is no guarantee, as he is trying to balance the many obstacles in his life. On top of his hustle, he must also deal with his very conservative Mexica family's disapproval of his lifestyle and his baby's mother, Karlas drama. Luckily his best friend and co-workers help him relax weekly as they bond over their crazy work antics and stories with too many drinks and food from their favorite taco truck. When he meets a fellow dancer, London, she opens his eyes up to not only love, but what a future could look like once he officially makes his exit. But it will not come easy as the money he receives from the private parties he works, and with the allure of being a lawyer gets further into the distance, can his motivations stay solid.*This entry is participating in the ReelShort Reel Vertical Impact contest
