Reborn for the Apocalypse

Maya Lin is reborn five days before the Shrieker apocalypse. This time she quits her job, reinforces her doors, and hoards supplies, determined to be the most secure 'slacker' of the apocalypse. While the world descends into chaos, she sips Coke and eats hot pot in her fortress. She is unexpectedly found by a search and rescue team. Her parents, at the Safe Zone, pleaded for a rescue mission. This is a journey of mutual redemption.
